On a boring Wednesday Morning!

I’ve been bummed lately. Really bummed. Too bummed to write anything and too bummed to do anything. So i thought I'd do some lazy blogging where i just have to answer questions and not do anything else. Cleopatra, name from blog, had this on in her blog and i was going through it. She was encouraging other bloggers to do the “survey” as well. So I'm doing it.

1. If you have pets, do you see them as merely animals, or are they members of your family?

-> I don’t have pets unfortunately. I live in an apartment where they have banned pets and even if i manage to convince the people in my apartment i can never convince my mum. but yes i did have them once and i thought of them as members of the family.

2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?

-> I don’t really know. I would have said what everyone says. Family, people to love. But i have that. I have a small collection of friends who mean a lot to me. And a good family. So I’m going to have to go with career and wealth. Considering that I’ve been struggling with both for quite a while now. 5 years to be exact. I would say that the career is the most important but not so important that it becomes more important than health.

3. What is the one thing most hated by you?

-> stupid people who think they are smart. I really can’t stand people like this. same thing goes for people who think that they are really good looking. don’t get me wrong. Its not that i hate people who don’t look like the world’s idea of beautiful. I like beautiful, but then beauty should be both inside and outisde. don’t you hate it when a fat sweaty hairy man tells you that you look ugly when you are a hundred times better looking than him. then he goes out of his way to act as if he is the real worlds version of james bond.

i’m all for imagination but this is the heights. same thing goes for girls who laugh at your clothes and tell you that you can’t pull it off when they are 80kgs wearing a tiny bikini that they looked like they stole from their baby sisters closet.

4. What would you do with a billion dollars?

-> I would buy my dream. That is my company, the one that i am wanting to start. I would start that and also buy myself and mum a lovely home (considering todays real estate rates i’d have to settle for less than what i want). then of course i’d buy myself wonderful little momiji dolls and little inu yasha figurines! WOOHOO!

5. What helps to pull you out of a bad mood?

MUSIC. I can’t say it enough. But then music, with my man, driving down the beach on a day when it is slightly chilly. That would get me out of a bad mood any day. Another thing that works beautifully, and probably better than the first is my mum’s cooking. sambar and coffee and curd rice and stuff, definitely makes life worth living again.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?

-> this one is really hard. If i love someone and they do not return my love, i’ve been there and it is not at all pleasant. whereas if someone loves me and i don’t want them but they refuse to let me go is kinda scary and i’ve been there two (both at the same time)

I would have to say being loved by someone you love is the best. there is no feeling as wonderful as when your guy takes your hand when he knows that you are down in the dumps without you having to even tell him how you feel. now that is being loved.

7. What is your bedtime routine?

Nothing much really, I wash my face. Talk on the phone with my bestie. probably play a game of sudoku / checkers / strategy something on my phone. then drift away to sleep. If there is something interesting n tv then the routine is the same just that the time is pushed back by however long the thing on tv is airing for.

8. If you are currently in a relationship, how did you meet your partner?

i met him very normally at a party. although he wasn’t really the partying type he was kinda dragged along by a friend which was very lucky for me. i was also thinking of not partying that night as i was getting over the partying phase. but i’m really really glad that i went along.

9. If you could watch a creative person in the act of the creative process, who would it be?

i know creative people. and i know how they behave when they are being productive and if they behave anything like me when i am writing or something then i DO NOT want to watch a creative person doing their thing. but if i really had to pick i would definitely pick a few directors considering that i want to become one myself.

10. What kinds of books do you read?

I read anything that isn’t too offensive or too violent or too pretentious. Especially have a soft corner for fantasy and thrillers. then the comedy.

11. What’s your fear?

Water. simply put. Water. Also hurting the people that I love. But mostly, water.

12. If you could pick a new name for yourself, what would it be?

I wouldn’t pick a new name for myself. I love the name that i have. But whatever other name that I do have a soft corner for I am naming my children. Yes, the father gets no say in the matter.

13. Would you give up all junk food for the rest of your life for the opportunity to visit outer space?

No chance in hell. not that i eat junk food anyway, but if i didn’t get my occasional chocolate cake/ bitter chocolate and maybe the random samosa, i would go mad and go on a killing spree.

14. Would you rather be single and rich or married and poor?

Single and rich. yes, the grass is always greener on the other side. and I believe that people come and go but money is most important to focus on. Also if i do have the money that i need to start my company, i am bound to find the guy (if i didn’t have my love) via my line of work.

15. What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

scream at the pigeons outside my window to shut up. or at times run at the window with my hair messy and all over the place waving a stuffed toy or a pillow in a murderous rage.

16. If you could change one thing about your spouse/partner what would it be?

I would make him more confident and less arrogant. Also i would make him realize just how sexy he really is.

17. Would you forgive and forget no matter how horrible a thing that special someone has done?

18. If you could only eat one thing for the next 6 months, what would it be?

Curd rice with pickles. Or curd rice with sambar. any one of the two. If i had to choose the pickle i would pick either the manga thokku or the elimicham one.

So thats it for the survey guys. I hope you like it. Please feel free to do the survey on your blog. and let me know with links if you have done it.
